Things I wanted but cannot afford..

I always wanted my very own laptop.. But.. again.. it's very expensive and I can't afford any at the moment......

Huwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... This piece is soooo cool.. Where can you actually get the YELLOW Blackberry Bold 9700?? I googled it up and the price was only RM1K.. (hmmm.. still expensive though.. :-( )

Detective Tey..?

When I was a kid , I always wanted to be a DETECTIVE .. I sorta inspired by Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series at the time.. What's more , my friends and me have our own detective group , like Nancy team .. ;-) We even have our own nicknames.. Mine were Zamira.. hahahha.. I know.. it sounds silly.. We would went out and pretend to be in an adventurous mission where mystery lies.. hehhehe.. Just near the football field of our primary school (SRB St. Anthony) back then was a small "jungle" as we put it and we would went there everyday during recess to "investigate".. And we believed that there was a primitive society lived in that "jungle".. huhuhuhu.. colorful mind of elementary school kids.. :-D

I even practically begged my late Abah to bought me a detective kit which consists of a small binocular , note pad with a cute small pen attached , a magnifying glass and of course a beret.. (I wondered myself why would a beret associated with 'detective'?) The best part, they are all PINK! Cute right? hehehhee..

Now I'm still a big fan of detective series like Sherlock Holmes , CSIs , criminology movies / dramas / documentaries and of course , Nancy Drew.. I even still played the pc games.. (all of them..)

♥ A biiiiggggg HUG to Malaysian Football team! ♥

There's nothing more gratifying than to have watch Malaysian team won the AFF cup today against Indonesian.. Although there were lots of hanky panky stuff going between the countries' spectators (lasers incident and stuff) and also despite all that threat to Malaysian team by the Indonesian spectators our team perform very well last night! I'd say they deserve more than a pat on their back~ ;-)
Oh , and what's even more gratifying is that PM announced this Friday to be Public Holiday in honor of Malaysia win the AFF cups! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy~♥

What I HATE about TV Dramas

Yeah.. I wish I could do this over a bad tv series..

What do
you hate the most about tv drama..? Mine would be :
  1. Too much cliff hanger scenes.. Urghhhh!! get over it already!
  2. Malay dramas that constantly using the same plot about rich family fighting each other over family fortune... NEXTTTT!!!!
  3. Horror drama/movie that wants to make an ending that seems mysterious to the viewers but come out nonsensical which make people go like what??????
  4. Drama with "spastic" sense of humor.. I mean , come on.. We don't live in the 3 stooges era anymore.. (i don't mean their humor is spastic.. they are great.. but people should do something fresh and new not copying other people stuff)
  5. Drama that a little bit too much of sappiness.. I watch tv to relax.. not to depress myself..
  6. Actors who act word by word on script or what us Malay would call "skema".. I vote for natural not posy..
  7. Drama that have over 100++ episodes and the villain seems not to die easily , like she's having a 9 life...??? I get bored too easily over this kind of tv series..

Black Day.. Black Area.. Black Tragedy..

It's a scary thing to hear about murder incident especially if it happen in your town.. My last day in SSGP-P turned out to be "traumatic" when I heard that one of our general worker has been murdered in Sg. Plan district where both of his hand were cut off and his stomach split open.. :-(
The person was still in work coverall with our company's badge still intact.. The police has been ringing our bosses non stop to get the 411 of the deceased , since he was found wearing the uniform..

I heard that the deceased was under serious influence of alcohol and got into a messy fight.. His father and also his sister who happen to be on the scene have fled when the incident occurs.. Well.. I don't blame them , in fact , people who are drunk as hell could never think straight and rather dangerous .. The case is still under investigation and the culprit behind the massacre is still not been found.. But I have a lot of faith.. The authority will get him in no time!

But seriously people .. It is very alarming when funky things happening in your neighborhood.. Bintulu , however small still cannot escape the horrible reality of bad social stuff .. :-( Really hope that things could go better in the society... We should enforce more patrol car in the black area.. I think it can help , at least , reduce a little of this gruesome incident in Bintulu..

And.. for those who drink , please do not drink until you lost your marble.. Trust me.. you do not want to be like the guy I just mentioned , right?

El domingo con la familia~☺

It's been a while since my family has all gathered together , having a good time.. Today , as early as 8:30 in the morning (yes.. you heard it right) , we go for a girls' day out.. (okay , there's a half guy - my 7-year-old nephew.. huhuhuhu) Akja (that's the nickname of my eldest sis) was craving for Mi Kolok and I thought it will be a good idea to hit town and having breakfast at Pon Cafe , which was known for its superb Mi Kolok in Bintulu.. Alas , the restaurant was closed.. :-( bo-hoooo.... Therefore , we decided to go ahead try for the second branch at Medan Jaya (Azah Pon) ..

Surprisingly.. there was no Mi Kolok there! Er... okay.. so , in disappointment , Akja just ordered Mi Jawa Daging instead.. Out of curiosity , I ordered Mi Sapi and as Akmie (my second elder sister) point , Mi Sapi is rather similar to Mi Kolok .. So , yeah , why not? BUT! It is NOT anything similar to Mi Kolok (except for the sambal cili part) I think it is more to Mi Sup.. huhuhuhuhu.. but what the heck , as long as the food is good then , I will eat it..

Me with younger sis , Nurul

My nephew , Haziq.. he's in protest mode at the moment.. :-D

Mi Sapi.. ☺

Overall , it was a wonderful day for us to get together.. And I get to learn Akja's infamous Nasi Ayam.. hehehehe.. :-D

What a day... :_(

Today was not a good day for me...

1) Got an annoying wrong phone call from a loan shark..

2) I was on leave (and informed my immediate supervisor) but somehow the "self appointed" HR Manager denied my leave and questioned all my works .... :-( Spoiled my mood for the whole day..

3) I got a rude horned later that evening.. adding to my bad mood

4) I accidentally gave my boss extra RM35 change.. How stupid...

5) Got home and feeling like eating something , so I went to the fridge to get my leftover burger , but ended up in disappointment 'coz my nephew already finish it on my behalf... :-( NOTE TO SELF : Never leave any leftover in the fridge , again..

So.. basically I am having quite a day... It drained the good feeling I have and definitely lowing my morale....

SMDS~!!! Alhamdulillah..

Alhamulillah... after a rough year of 2010 , I will enrolled to SMDS next year!! Yayyyyy to meee!!!! hehehehehe.. I am truly grateful having had the opportunity to be part of the top oil n gas international company... eventhough just servicing under 3rd Party...

My dilemma now is that how am I gonna tell the company that I'm currently working with , that I'll be resigning..? There are piles of works that bears my name on it that needs to be done.... Furthermore , the company isn't strike me as the one that practicing a good virtue towards their employees... (Well.. there are lots of grumpy voices few days back during the payday...)

Those Parasite Opportunist

It is good to be opportunist.. It differentiate you from other people.. Alas, there also some negative aspect of opportunist , especially when you take advantage of other people , and they suffer in the circumstances..

I am in the situation where I was ordered by our HSE manager (who shall I say "conned" me into agreeing) to give his daughter and apparently also his nephew a lift.. It's not much of a bother really , until they ordered me around like a driver... Imagine that someone share a car with you , using your car , but treating you like dirt.. You are the one who owned the car , and you drive the car using your own expenses to buy the fuel , and then when your car tank reaches "E", they act like nothing happen.. The best part of all , one of them apply a RM60 fuel claim when he actually share a car with you with your car, your fuel and you who the one driving it.. (Yes , he DID NOT share that RM60 with me.. that slimy bastard..)

So , today I decided to give them both an SMS telling them that I will no longer their backing call.. Hah!

I feel GOOOOOOOOOODDDD..

Phewww.. I have just going through the toughest interview in my whole life.. (for me) I don't know what I was muttering infront of Mr. Dave , he's the PTA Manager and he's Scottish ;-) (PTA = Plant Turn Around .. Not Parent-Teacher thingy folks.. :-D ) But I'm sure that I said something..

And Alhamdulillah , I am able to perform my best during the interview , where we are supposed to make a minutes while the interviewers having a brief meeting infront of us.. It's quite challenging given that most of the content are involving technical terms and lemme tell you I'm no good in any technical terms... Well.. It's been quite a while since I last using any technical knowledge in my life.. But overall , I think I did a decent job.. and kudos to me.. (hihihihi) Mr.Dave was impressed by my minutes! Yayyyy! Horay to Team Tey! Hehehhehee..

Be there for me... Would you?

I just want someone to always be there with me.... who sees through the worse and the better of me.... that's all.... nothing more.... nothing less........ :-(

W.O.R.D

There's an old saying "stick and stone may break my bones , but words can hurt even more".. (seriously , it's not really an old saying.. I just made it up.. :-P ) And I agreed.. When you harm someone physically , it wounded , scarred and eventually will heal because our body has an amazing "recovery system".. Unlike when you harm someone emotionally.. It wasn't just wounded and scarred.. but it cannot disappeared like the wound you saw on your body.. It's there in your heart.. People with strong heart will get over it a little (not entirely) but there are some people that will carry it for the rest of their life.. And it's awful....

I myself had carried so many wound from my past life and still not fully recover... That made me quite a fragile person and I tend to retreat myself to my "shell" whenever someone hurt me.. When I'm on my "retreat" mode , I will view my life differently.. I feel alone and I need solitude.. I have my share of depression episode when I swallow about 10-12 aspirin just to make everything go away... I hate my life at that time and even considered killing myself... especially when I lost someone I love the most in my life (my abah..) but then , I realized that I am more than what I thought myself be... I want to be different from those people that like to hurt people.. I want to be good... I want not to hurt people with my words coz I know how much it will hurt....

So guys.... think before you say something... Think of what will you feel when that someone hurt you the same way... and if you feel bitter , then stop... Silence and find some solitude... I myself is trying this.. :-)

Briefing company --> NIGHTMARE .. and also an interview with Shell MDS

Today is a challenging day for me to find supposedly the briefing place before my interview with Shell MDS this Thursday.. I am beginning to imagine myself in Amazing Race , as the briefing was supposedly started at 9am and I was still circling the industrial area for about an hour.. I was so frustrated.. mainly because I cannot find the place , and the person who answering my phone to guide me to the office was RUDE! Plus , I catch a fever , so you could probably imagine how challenging my day is today..

I was thinking of quitting that moment , when I stop at a construction company , asking for direction and the security guard never heard of the company.. But then , a DHL delivery boy came and immediately I ask the delivery boy to literally show me a.k.a take me to the exact place.. FINALLY! I'm arrived...

As I expected of an International company such as Shell , they wanted the contractor who supply the manpower to brief all participants beforehand , to not wasting much of their time.. And as I expected...... the interview isn't piece of cake.. We will be tested on our note taking , quick listening and organizing notes.... and all in ENGLISH.. No Bahasa Malaysia stuff...... *gasp*

Ya ALLAH... please help me......

Oh My.. My First Days of Working...

Hey guys.. Hmmm.. I've been missing my daily blogging for past couple of days.. But today since I have so much to share , despite all that exhaustion , I'm going to write in an entry anyway..

It's been quite an experience for my new job .. I was thankfully to GOD that I didn't wear very formal attire like baju kurung on my first day , or else risking myself to be the laughing stock of the whole contractors.. Well , for starters , the path leading to the site office was covered by nothing more than mud.. And I was blessed that day that I didn't also wear my heels.. GOD knows what happen...

There's nothing much to talk about the work colleagues except that they are all very friendly.. It's nice to have a positive environment like this after so many years of bad experiences..

Then.. I got my PPE.. A boot and a safety helmet.. When I say a boot , it's REALLY a boot.. like the one people wear on rainy day.. and the best part is.. IT'S YELLOW! Exactly like Phua Chu Kang.. Huhuhuhu.. The boot's size is quite big and I could saw myself walking like a Ronald Mcdonald... without the clown outfit and balloons... :-D

Come to think of it , the boots are actually pretty cute.. :-D

And today.. I have my first "public toilet at site area" experience.. And let me tell you , I barely survived in there... I had a horrible "2 girls and a cup" flashback just after my eyes had glanced to the "interesting" content floating about... I might have to do some chocolate and ice-cream fasting for a week.. TRAUMA!!!
