Rainbow cuppies~!

Oh.. I completely forgot about this.. Last 2 days, I'm making a rainbow cupcakes!! They're actually for my niece's birthday on the 29th and I thought since I have lots of free time in my hand , why not baked her some..

I used my friend's white chocolate cake recipe for this.. Although the cake doesn't have the right amount of white chocolate taste (probably to insufficient amount of white choc. added in the batter, thanks to the skeptical me) and somehow quite watery batter , it turns out alright.. I even have compliments from my husband Moushie, who btw doesn't hold for sweet foods..

The recipe is as follows :

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 (1 ounce) squares white chocolate,chopped
1/2 cup hot water
1 cup butter,softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the 2 1/2 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In small saucepan, melt 6 ounces white chocolate and hot water over low heat. Stir until smooth, and allow to cool to room temperature. In a large bowl, cream 1 cup butter and 1 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in flour mixture alternately with buttermilk. Mix in melted white chocolate.

The batter however is just plain white so feel free to use your creativity and imagination as to add colors to it.. Mine would definitely be RAINBOW ! ^_^

 Before frosting..

I tested it right after it's out of the oven.. Burned my tongue.. ....serve me rite..

 I have one last night..

 B for Best! :-D
It looks kinda shaky since I already lost all my skills in decorating cupcakes.. T_T

Lastly..  My favorite part! nom-nom-nom~ ah.. delicious!

Bye-Bye March.. T_T

Good Morning~ Ahhh.. I just have a very satisfied breakfast.. :-D

It's the end of March.. also the end of my 37th weeks period.. Which btw puts all the butterflies in the world in my stomach right now thinking how close it is to my delivery due date.. The belly's growing heavily by the day.. Getting tired so easily & sleepy are just an understatement.. I barely doing housework without gasping for breath even it means just doing the dishes.. Even walking to the toilet seems laborious to me.. >o< ..never thought pregnancy was this challenging.. huhuhu.. (well, hugs to all MOMS out there)

I just finished playing one of the Mystery Case Files series "13th Skull".. For me it's the best so far after Return To Ravenhearst.. The puzzles are relatively solvable compared to the previous installment : Dire Grove which for me lack of characters and interesting puzzles.. I gotta give the writer of this 6th Installment of Mystery Case Files a round of applause for its unexpected ending.. Truthfully I never have expected it.. ;-) If I have a choice, I would've bought the original CDs for this game (for its special features and stuff) but again, I'm an avid download junkies and buying CDs would actually not for me (unless it's worth it) This game is definitely a keeper for those "Hidden Objects" game junkies..

As for the latest series of the Mystery Case Files : Escape From Ravenhearst , oh, don't get me started on that subject.. A total disappointment! I know that the developer would like to make a difference (surprise elements I guess) in this new and perhaps the final chapter of the Ravenhearst series by completely changing the way the players find the hidden objects and not to mention the upgraded graphic , which btw is sooooooo UNNECESSARY.. I mean who the heck would need stunning graphic for a Hidden Object game??? It's completely OVERRATED! So , yeah.. I ended up uninstalling the game after 30mins of frustration over slowed-performance-over-giant-graphic-detailed problem.. Thumbs down for Escape From Ravenhearst.. >_< You , sir really turns the smile upside down..
** now looking forward for the latest Nancy Drew - Tomb of the Lost Queen..  The pre-order will started this 3rd of April!! Nggggggggggg~! Hope I manage to get my hands on this next month... **

Waaaaaaaaaaa~!!! So unfair!

DIRECTORS : Are you run out of Ideas already???

POP QUIZ : What are these pictures have in common..?

I am sicked~ No, not talking about in physical terms but rather emotionally.. I've gotta rant about this new trend in TV series / film about a novel adaptation.. Not that I have any beef with some director/producer who appreciate a good novel and trying to bring it to life, but guys , you gotta chill out.. Honestly I get pretty much annoyed when I turned on a tv and there's every single drama you could find in every channel that were adapted from a certain novel..

That's not all, every dramas/films .. I mean EVERY single one of them kinda share the same storyline.. A couple united in arranged marriage who were at each others' throat then find their romance and then were crushed by a 3rd-wheel and finally reunited again at the end... Seriously?? Like all Malaysian directors are lost for their own ideas and originality already?? It's just soooooooooooooo cliche! We've seen that already! MOVING ON PLEASEEEEE!!!!

A message to directors out there who planning on their next movie / drama on a novel adaptation , please.. PLEASE refrain yourself from using a reference (novel) that has the same storyline , the same plot, the same ending as mentioned above.. We are so over it! (I AM..)

* But I loveeeeeeeeeee Nora Elena.. huhuhuhu..*

You're under arrest, Nancy!

Oh Nancy.. what have you done..?

*gasp* whattt?? Nancy being arrested??? Yup.. In its 25th installment, Herinteractive has brought an exciting perspective in Nancy Drew game where the game revolves in finding the culprit with the help of her trusted friends , in her hometown .. while being captive.. :-D Sounds quite handful rite..?

Before downloading this , I read a few reviews about the game and a lot of them are pretty grumpy with the fact that the game doesn't provide an efficient length and most of them solved it in under 3-4 hours average.. (Woooooo.. lucky them!) I try my best not to get affected and stay clear-headed (without bias) and play it on my own terms..

And what do you know.. I actually LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it! Although I can't see the real Ned (uh, I bet he's helplessly gorgeous..) but I thoroughly enjoy being him in the game.. As well as both Bess and George.. but George wasn't really "functioning" efficiently in the game because for me she doesn't have necessary "charm" that both Bess and Ned have to "dig" the dirt of the River Heights community.. :-P But I like her though for being there for Nancy..

Okay, I lay down the things I like for Nancy Drew - Alibi In Ashes :

  • The storyline and plot were actually very good.. You couldn't keep guessing who's the real culprit until you're in 3/4 of the game.. (at least I am..)
  • Puzzles are relatively varied from solvable to quite hard.. :-D
  • You've got to see Nancy's bedroom! I love it! She did keep it pretty neat! (oh, a spoiler.. you have to read Ned's letter to Nancy.. So SWEET!)
  • There are various characters with different personalities and definitely different motives in the game..
  • This is the first time in the game that you have to actually switch protagonist in order to gain information from the suspects..
There are not so much that I didn't like about the game.. The fact that I can't explore River Heights more (can't go to the park or hit the mall.. ) is a bummer.. I think Herinteractive should at least include may be one extra features where player can relax in the mall or at the park to chill.. Also, they should have made George more interact-able.. Huhuhuhu.. I know she's a hard gal and all but she gotta has her own charm right?

So.. that's my review for the latest Nancy Drew.. I give it 8 and a half stars out of 10.. ;-) Worth downloading it.. And now awaiting for the next installment coming this April : Tomb of the Lost Queen.. I love it when we going abroad again and now it's going to be in Egypt! Mummies , encrypted messages in holographic , curses.. Very intriguing! CAN'T WAITTTTT!!!!

Looks like we're going to experience some "The Mummies" scene! :-D

Hello 9-months..

Helloooooo 9-months pregnancy.. huwaaa.. only a few more weeks (or perhaps days) to go.. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous right now.. I didn't expect it to be this quick >_< After all, hearing all those "scary" experiences from few mommies I met kinda put my spirit to the test.. especially knowing that I'm entering the most crucial trimester of all..

It's raining outside and pretty much bleak and gloomy.. And how it contribute to the "lonely" feeling right about now.. *sigh* I miss my nephew , Haiyan Rayyan so much! Mom and dad were away yesterday to KL to bring him back to my elder sis.. (and not to mention that I actually get really teary after sending them to the Boarding room) Oh, well.. I'm just gonna wait until Hari Raya to meet Rayyan..  But at that time he's already turning 9-month-old.. I doubt that he's gonna recognized his "God-Mother" anymore.. *sob..sob..*

Turning 8-9 months of pregnancy, I'm having a realllllllllllllllly difficulty in sleeping.. I was up to approximately 5-6 times every night to pee.. Thank GOD that I'm not working at the moment or I'll be in the office with a panda-eye for sure.. Furthermore , I think my baby is most active during the night , which got me concern over some fact I heard that if the baby is active in mommy's belly during the night, he/she will most probably going to make you stay up at night as well when he/she's outside.. Huwaaaaaaa.. don't tell me I'm gonna have another sleepless night episodes after this~

Okay fellas.. That's it for now.. I'm gonna hit the sack.. I need a healthy dose of sleep otherwise I'm gonna get grumpy-crabby afterwards.. which is not good.. :-D

*xoxo everyone*

Al-Fatihah Dear Dirang..

 Al-fatihah....

Yesterday was a devastating day for Roselyn Alan and the whole family as the police has confirmed that the remain they found at a palm estate is indeed their missing 5-year-old Nurul Nadirah @ Dirang.. Poor child has been found charred (the remain was unidentified at first due to severe burn) after missing since 1st March..

It's like a deja vu all over again as we have quite a similar case here in Bintulu not long time ago when a 6-year-old Siti Nor Hajar went missing.. Although it wasn't mention in the news but from what I heard from the local , including people who actually seen the remain, the poor kid's was found half naked and her head was shaved to the point of almost bald.. Not sure if it's true but the story was spread all over Bintulu..

Really, I can't bear the thoughts of what those psychopath has done to this poor, helpless kid... Especially now that I become a Mom-to-be, I feared for the safety of our children.. They're no longer save without being watched , constantly..

I hope the perpetrator will be found and a heavy punishment being served to this psychopath.. Although I highly doubt it that the REAL jerk was captured but I believe in my heart that poor, wronged children will see the light and justice will be served.. Even not today in present day... Just remember that karma has its funny way of coming back to your life.. Or perhaps if the JERK wasn't punished in this earth, he will get his BIG SHARE in akhirat... That is for sure..

** How I hope we have a special team like the one in "Criminal Minds" to attend this kind of case...**

Lame Excuse 2012

Huwaaaa.. finally having the will to come back to this page again.. Now I'm in my 8-month-old pregnancy everything seems required a lot of energy to me.. :-D Yes, clicking mouse also requires energy.. So what's to say about writing an entry? (okay.. I know.. LAME excuse.. again..)

What I've been up to this few months of absence? Well.. apart from being a "busy" housewife, I'm also in an unofficial baby care training.. hehehhee.. My elder sis who just delivered her child last November had to go on her PJJ in January (PJJ - distance education.. Malaysian acronym) So her newborn had to stay here in Bintulu to be taken care by Mom and Dad.. and me..

This is Haiyan Rayyan.. A cutey isn't he..? hehhehee.. I just want to bit his chubby little cheek every time..But sadly.. we have to send him home to his mom (my sis) this coming 18th.. I sure miss him so much then.. :-( Huwaaaaaaaaaa...

There are quite bundle of updates  I'm eager to share but I have to pass for now as I hafta go babysit Haiyan.. Mom's out taking aunts from Serikei to town.. So, stay tune ya? :-D

OMAGGGAAADDDDDDDDDD

credits to Epipheo for your awesome video..

I have nothing against Twilight fan (although I am too have seen the movie , read the book, err.. I mean barely finish the book) but I have to say I'm agreed to most of the points presented in the above video.. Well.. for me being the "giant lego brick" myself.. hahahahhah! High five for me for having the guts to admit it!

But, I'm not to the point of being delusional and certainly NOT with the likes of Edward Cullen or Jakob for that matter.. For me the only celebrity that make me go OMAGAADDDDD could only be Aaron Aziz..

Yeaaahhhhh.. shocker isn't it..? I've been a fan for quite some times since the time he's starring in "Janji Diana".. Well, to be honest I didn't really follow that flick, just watched it when I happened to turn on the channel.. But I hafta say the "turning point" would be during his time in "Emil Emilda" & "Nora Elina" which are awwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeesooooomeeeeeee.. (especially in Nora Elina.. oh, he melt me...)

What crushed me though is that yesterday, Bintulu has been bombarded by the news of a local married with the infamous "Ombak Rindu" director Osman Ali and guess who's among the guests of honor???? Nggggggggggggg!!!!! He's there too!!! Dang! Somebody better NOT taking picture with him that day coz I'd be soooooooooooo green in envy.. If you are then you better watched your picture dahling or I might kidnap and photoshopped it for my own pleasure.. ngehehehhehehehhee.. (haishhhh.. did I sound like a stalker there?)

Okay, I better stop now before my hubby Moushie sulking over this silly crush of me.. :-D

What's ironic is that Aaron is actually married with 2 kids and he's having a very blooming career.. Talk about balanced , right? Actually the person that we should give respect and a hats down is infact his wife.. who is the driven force behind his success.. Yup, it is true that behind every gorgeous, successful man is indeed a WOMAN.. And I'm giving all my respect to Aaron's wife.. You the man! .. I mean woman..

This should served as an inspiration for me to take care of my partner, be the driven force behind him so he could be the inspiration to others.. Hmmm.. see, there's a positivity in having a crush in celebrity.. Right? ;-)
